New Midlands Forum Launched

Veg Chat Midlands banner

Date: 2008-01-21

Campaigners in the Midlands have launched a brand new, Midlands wide forum for veggies & vegans.

Members of Midlands Vegan Campaigns have set up Veg Chat Midlands, a fully featured forum which will operate alongside the campaigning group, providing veggies & vegans across the region with an excellent means of communication.

Members can chat about food, friends, TV, books, health, current affairs, sport or just vegetarianism/veganism - chat about anything at all with likeminded people across the Midlands region.

There is of course a section for campaigning discussion, which covers veggie/vegan promotion, animal rights, environmentalism and action alerts.

There is also a section where Veg Chat Midlands encourage local groups across the region to form their own public or private mini forum. Somewhere local group members can discuss issues specific to their own group, where they will be responsible for moderation of posts themselves.

Logon today and start chatting - you can remain totally anonymous if you wish! If you have any comments, suggestions or questions, you can post a topic in the "About Veg Chat Midlands" section.

Veg Chat Midlands is a fantastic new resource for ethical people across the Midlands region. Whether you`re based in Hereford, Birmingham, Derby, Northampton or anywhere inbetween, this is your forum. It will no doubt soon become a thriving community for dedicated veggies & vegans and also somewhere aspiring veggies and the veggie curious can seek advice, ask questions etc.

Happy chatting!!

ActiVeg site disruption - update

Done!

All sites should be working. The login server "secure.activeg.org" should now stop throwing out those warning messages and we even have a little SSL certificate logo on the login page.

Some non-AVN domain named sites still need to set their domain names IP adresses to  212.67.217.15. If your site does not work than this is most probably the cause.

New Album by vegan PinkLogik

Uplifting, beautifully strange, and intelligent down-tempo "femmetronica" will take you into a journey through Wonderland and Heaven. With moments reminiscent to depeche mode, moby, and earlier electronic music pioneers, the album possesses equal parts darkness and lightness. PinkLogik will move both your spirit and your senses.
