GCSE class come up with a tasty vegan menu

Yestarday in Maidenhead a school class of 15-16 year olds came up with a tasty imaginary vegan menu in a workshop.
- Jacket Potato and Sun-Dried Tomato Baked Bean Surprise (gluten free)
- Coconut Chilli Beans with Nachos (gluten free)
- Rainbow Cottage Pie, with veggie mince, dairy-free cheezy mashed potato and a rainbow of vegetables
- Cauliflower and Chickpea Curry with Coconut Rice (gluten free)
- Peanut and Lime Chicken Style Stir Fry - peanut butter coated Chicken Style Pieces served on a lime and ginger stir fry with rice noodles
- Pesto and Tomato Pasta - pasta served with tomatoes and a home-made basil and pine kernel pesto and salad
Sounds yummy - what would you choose?
The session was lead by Sophie Fenwick-Paul, a voluntary speaker for the Vegetarian Society, Animal Aid and Viva!
