Heather Mills - Can She Cook? Yes She Can! Veggie Cookery Demo at 3pm at The Brighton Eco Veggie Fayre March 20th 2010
Date: 2010-03-10
Charity campaigner Heather Mills can not only skate – she can cook too, and will be doing just that during her 3pm Cookery Demo at The Brighton Eco Veggie Fayre on Saturday March 20th at The Hove Centre.
Her famous veggie restaurant V Bites is doing the catering at the show, and her recently acquired award winning company Redwood is also at the show with their incredible range of meat free and dairy free alternatives
Heather's Cookery Demo will be a central part of the show and TV crews will be in attendance to witness her veggie specialities which may include her new range of recently launched veggie ready meals.
The Cookery Demos area is hosted by celebrity veggie cookbook author Tony Bishop Weston and will include Kids Cookery Classes as well as an introductory session for those new to the delights of veggie cooking, plus a Class for more advanced cooks from Viva's Helen Rossiter.
And with the award winning FRY's range of veggie burgers, sausages and meat substitutes available to sample free, plus the presence of veggie speciality caterers such as Aunty Jee's Curry House, Veg Out, Rainforest Creation's Raw Banquet, and some Korean, Japanese and Creole Cooking too, there is something for everyone who visits the show – be they die hard carnivores or dedicated vegans – and everything in-between!
Its not all about the food though – the entertainments area hosted VeggieVision supremo Karin Ridgers includes an Eco Soapbox with local politicians from all the major parties, an Al Gore trained USA climate Change Campaigner Singer Songwriter (Kyle Vincent), a presentation from Antarctic Whale Fighters Sea Shepherd, and The Great Debate at 4pm which questions whether the 100% raw vegan diet is actually the optimum diet for health and environment – plus an introduction from Karin herself to the wonderful world of Veggie Vision, the UK's leading veggie internet channel.
Plus up to 80 stalls with veggie friendly, Fair Trade and Eco friendly products in abundance, many with special offers, and this really is a veritable paradise for anyone interested in their health, and the health of the planet, and the welfare of animals and the environment.
The show opens at 11am and shuts at 6pm. Admission is £3 adults and £1 kids under 12/OAP's Organised by Yaoh, sponsored by Beanie's Health Foods, V Bites, Chunkies, Macrobiotic Shop, Flax Farm Linseed, VeggieVision and Excellart. The Brighton Eco Veggie Fayre is part of Brighton Spring Harvest.
