Don't you love crumpets with a dollop of marg and maybe some peanut butter? Yum! These bread products always appeared to be vegan in the past, whatever packaging they were in. But no longer. Activeg tells you which ones to look out for...
Waitrose's and several other makes of crumpet now contain dairy products. Bad news for vegans and the dairy-intolerant. However Warburton's have not changed their recipe, which we've bought the whole stock of in our local co-op shop. If you know of any other brands which are still okay, let us know, and we'll post it here.
