The deadline for entries to the Triodos Women in Ethical Business Awards has been extended to 21 February 2008, to provide a final chance to apply for an award. Entry is easy and free.

Previous winners have enjoyed national press coverage, and the opportunity to celebrate their success at a special event in London. Prizes include an outfit from fair trade and organic fashion retailer Adili, a years’ worth of clean, green electricity from Ecotricity and a weekend break at Pelham House Hotel in Lewes, East Sussex.

Applications are open for the Award’s three categories: Triodos Ethical Business Award (for businesses with turnover greater than £1 million) Triodos Ethical Small Business Award (for businesses with turnover less than £1 million) and Triodos Ethical Entrepreneur Award (for an outstanding female entrepreneur). There will also be an eve magazine reader-voted award.

To maintain the Awards’ independence, Triodos Bank business and charity customers are not eligible to enter.

Awards are open for women who run or own a business that’s based on sound ethical principles. Nominate some vegan and veggie business women!
