Description
The emphasis at Fern Tor is on gorgeous vegan food, and vegetarians and non-veggies alike will have any preconceptions blasted away with the variety on offer. Comfy bedrooms with completely inspiring breakfasts and hearty delicious evening meals make it a hard place to leave. The Guardian newspaper put Fern Tor in their top 10 veggie places to stay, with good reason.
Very much the countryside cottage. The downstairs bed room is the room to go for which opens up directly to the garden (although the resident pets might come to join you.)
Around the back of the house are the homes of various rescued farm animals - birds, pig, goats and what ever need saving at the time.
As well as the expertly tasty breakfast there are also evening meals available to order. They are of a very traditional homely wholesomeness style, plus delicious desserts including the famous Fern Bocker Glory. Its not compulsary, but it is recommended you climb the hill behind the house after your Glory or you could be a much bigger person after your stay than before it.
 Rooms cost around £30 pppn . Various discounts available.

"Our young family simply loved this place. The food is gloriously good and very vegan-friendly, so we ate here almost every night, and had delightfully different breakfasts each morning. We felt very cared for, just like the lucky animals who live here all year round. Peaceful and central."
