"FL is excellent. I was a devotee of Willow (in Totnes) for many years but finally had one too many bowls of extemporised soup (it was actually cauliflower and cumin). At FL you get twice as much (soup), it's made to a recipe, you can have (delicious) white bread and the butter is not wrapped. It's pleasingly funky. Only downside: it may be closed, without any explanation - frustrating no doubt if you've come a long way specially. Worth telephoning ahead. "
