Description
Diwali is the big (vegetarian) festival for Hindus, Jains and Sikhs. People from all age groups participate. They give expression to their happiness by lighting earthen 'diyas' (lamps), decorating the houses, bursting firecrackers and inviting near and dear ones to their households for partaking in a sumptuous feast.
It's a lovely time for you and your groups and friends to hold scrumptious vegan food events with lots of lights and candles, and if possible connecting up with Indian and other groups in your area that already celebrate Diwali.
