Day of Action for Primates

Where: your chosen venue, , Your Town.
Date: Sat 18th Nov 2006 @ 00:00 until ( past event )

EU legislation currently being debated could lead to a ban on the use of primates in experiments. The hope is that with this legislation primates will be freed from the horrors of laboratories.

Animal Aid are calling a Day of Action for Primates on Saturday November 18th to raise awareness of the campaign. We are asking animal campaigners to hold a street stall in their local town centre and collect signatures on petitions and postcards, and to hand out leaflets.

It's a good time to also give people who care about animals vegan leaflets, such as the wonderful "Why Vegan" booklet that has turned countless people to veganism. Ask the Vegan Society for some: Show email address..

If this day of action is something you would like to participate in, or you would like more information, contact Kate.
