A programme you should catch!

Channel 4 Programme 'Come Dine With Me' features two veg*n participants this season, including the wonderful Niki O'Leary of Scouseveg. As the format of the show involves participants cooking for each other in turn, this means there will be great veggie food cooked and eaten on screen every day for a fortnight.

The new series has started and broadcasts at 4.30pm five days a week. The week beginning 31 July features Niki, the following week includes wine buff and virtually life-long veggie, Paul Dwyer.

The producers' description of the show follows but all you have to do is tune in and enjoy!

COME DINE WITH ME

Get ready for another helping of fabulous feasts and champagne sparkling wit as Channel 4's culinary competition, 'Come Dine With Me', returns for a brand new series.

All our hosts think they know exactly what makes the perfect dinner party, but with a big prize at stake, the competition is fierce and the heat is on. It's not long before temperatures rise in the kitchen and tempers flare around the table. Filmed all over Britain, the 'Come Dine With Me' smorgasbord of chefs - from pole dancers to magistrates - will surprise, shock and occasionally baffle with their diverse and unique approach to entertaining.

They all love food, wine and entertaining - and most of all believe they have the recipe for the best dinner party. It's entertaining with a twist - as at the end of the night the guests secretly give their host a score out of ten so ultimately there is one winner who pockets the £1000 prize.

Each host, with a variety of diets and culinary influences, attempts to sauté, simmer and steam their way to success as they take it in turns to throw their idea of the perfect dinner party.

So who will be crowned king or queen of the kitchen each week...?
