Description

The week of World Vegan Day is a
great time of year to have an event, get in the local paper, or
whatever you like to celebrate and share veganism. We've sorted
some inspiration for World Vegan
Day - everyone can do it! Have a go.
World Vegan Day always celebrated on 1st November. Vegans around the world will be celebrating from Sat 27 Oct (and throughout November!) For 2007, the theme is Green. Why not make the eco reasons to go vegan a central part of your event? It's time to challenge the environmentalists - is it green to eat meat (and dairy and eggs!)?Contact us with what you are thinking of planning, or for ideas on what to do.
Activists pack and other inspiration
The Vegan Society can set you up
with an activists pack for World Vegan Day - so order one today! We've also
lined up a great range of ideas to inspire
you here on ActiVeg. Take a look at the ActiVeg resources pages for ideas on
activities.
Posters
Download and print the eco-vegan posters created by Thames Valley V&V.
Vegan Week events listing - contact the organisers to join in
Active vegans everywhere are contacting their local press and radio stations about National Vegan Week and World Vegan Day coming up. You can too! Try some ActiVeg media tips. You can give them the environmental booklet from the Vegan Society - it'll give them lots of material to draw upon
There will be other things going on, as well, so if you can't see anything near you here, do get in touch with your local Network Contact or group, take a look at the Contacts Map fordetails or in your Vegan Magazine, where in some cases there are fuller details.
