One World Week
One World Week is all about acting for the sake of the people in the rest of the world. The fact that eating vegan helps reduce squandering the earth's food and water resources and significantly reduces a person's ecological footprint fits in well with this event. On top of that it is just before National Vegan Week.
Ask if there is a One World Week event happening near you that you can join in with, or set up your own. Not all events get listed on their website, so it might be best to ask to be put in touch with theiir local activists and groups.
